Andrea Chase joins INHF staff

Andrea Chase has been an Iowa resident for 5 years. During that time, she said, "I have seen trail development, awareness and excitement grow, and I would like to be a part of a team that continues to sustain and build that momentum."

Whether she’s acquiring land for trails, marketing them or simply riding them, Andrea Chase has trails on her mind. As of July 31, she took her trails enthusiasm statewide by filling a new INHF staff position: Trails Coordinator.

Previously, Andrea was the Environmental Planner for the Southeast Iowa Regional Planning Commission. Her duties there included working on all aspects of the Des Moines County Trail, collaborating with local partners to improve facilities along the Mississippi River Trail, and helping organize Bike to Work Week.

Andrea will work alongside Lisa Hein, who has spearheaded INHF trail projects for many years.

For more information, e-mail Cathy Engstrom, Director of Communications, or call (515) 288-1846.
