Correction

Many thanks to alert INHF members for spoting our error on the cover of the Summer 2004 magazine. The caterpillar pictured on that cover is not a Buckeye butterfly but rather a species of Tiger moth.

Below are additional pictures of the misidentified Tiger moth, as well proper identification of the Buckeye butterfly caterpillar.

We had consulted with several experts about the previous identification, but we're lucky to have so many additional experts among our membership!
