For the first time, Maynard Reece has combined Iowa’s state flower and bird in an oil painting-shown on the cover of this magazine. Limited-edition prints are available exclusively through the Maynard Reece Gallery. Maynard will donate 25% of all print revenue to the Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation endowment!

Maynard, a former INHF board member and now a board advisor, believes strongly in protecting Iowa’s natural resources. This Iowan’s work is internationally acclaimed and has been featured on more than 30 duck and conservation stamps, plus books, magazines and more. In 1998, INHF and other organizations dedicated the Maynard Reece Marsh at the Union Slough National Wildlife Refuge.
