Central Iowa Field Assistant
INHF is seeking a passionate, well-organized land steward for a temporary, hourly position as a Central Iowa Field Assistant (CIFA). The CIFA will support land stewardship field work at one of Iowa's leading nonprofit conservation organizations and will have the opportunity to work alongside and learn from knowledgeable staff and partners who genuinely care about the lands they steward. Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation is looking for a dedicated professional to work with us on a temporary basis as the Mark C. Ackelson Fellow. This Fellow will work to inform state public policy and funding decisions that enhance natural resource protection and outdoor recreation opportunities. Learn more about the Mark C. Internships
Interns make huge contributions to INHF's land restoration, communications, policy and trail programs. Each year INHF hires nearly 20 office and field interns to learn about Iowa's native habitats, contribute to active stewardship efforts and bring INHF's work to new audiences.
